Federal Government Reopens 2025 YIEDEP Registration Portal

The Federal Government has reopened the portal for the 2025 Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YIEDEP). The programme supports young Nigerians with business training and grants of up to ₦500,000. It is designed to help youths build real economic skills, start small businesses, and gain access to financial support that can improve their income and future prospects.

About the 2025 YIEDEP Grant

YIEDEP is a national initiative that encourages young people to take part in economic activities that strengthen both their income and the wider economy. The programme focuses on entrepreneurship, small business development, and access to financial services. It also provides a structured training and mentorship plan to help applicants build the skills they need to start or grow a business.
The goal is to reduce unemployment, support national growth, and ease the pressure of household poverty.

Who Can Apply

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Nigerian citizenship
• Age 18 to 35
• Valid NIN and BVN
• Interest or involvement in any productive venture such as agriculture, fashion, technology, entertainment, sports, renewable energy, or similar fields
• An account with Lotus, Keystone, or Fidelity Bank
• Willingness to take part in the training and mentorship programme

Grant Benefits

Successful applicants receive between ₦50,000 and ₦500,000, along with business development training and ongoing support.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official YIEDEP website here

  2. Select the Register Now option.

  3. Fill in your personal information, including name, address, phone number, BVN, NIN, state, and local government.

  4. Submit the form.

  5. A Membership Code will appear on your screen. Keep this code safe. You will need it at the partner bank.

Bank Registration Step

After receiving your membership code:
• Visit any branch of Lotus, Keystone, or Fidelity Bank.
• Present your membership code.
• The bank will create your account for the programme.

This completes your registration process. Once verified, the training and onboarding steps will follow.
